Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors are invited to an afternoon outdoors to rotate through Aquatic and Terrestrial activity stations at Laird Park (a US Forest Service Campground) to learn about aquatic species and indicators, and participate in a short and enjoyable family ecology hike to look at different plant species, forest floor microbial communities, and maybe even spot some wildlife! Hosted by Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI).

(optional and self guided) - Families are encouraged to stay after the program for a B.Y.O. picnic lunch or bring suits and swim in the beautiful, low flow river running through the park... or play on the playground!

Check-in begins at 10:45am, program starts at 11am. Transportation not provided.

All girls participating in the program activities must be registered and be current Girl Scouts in the grades listed above. Parents, you are welcome to stay with your girls at the stations. If families are coming (with siblings or other tagalongs), the camp ground offers swimming, hiking, or play areas to enjoy while Girl Scouts participate in the program.
